Soldier
The Universal Soldier (sometimes called UniSol for short) is a fictional cyborg from the Universal Soldier series starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The UniSols are dead soldiers that have been reanimated as cyborgs, and used for military purposes. Although they can think independently, the main objective of every UniSol is to obey its central programming.
Of all the Universal Soldiers, only Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) has ever been changed back into a human.
The appearance of the UniSols varies throughout the movies. In the first movie, they wear robotic parts on their skin. By the last movie, their cybernetic parts are all internal, and they look almost human.
The UniSols possess several abilities. For one, they have enhanced strength, enhanced endurance and superior fighting skills. This is what makes them difficult to destroy. In addition, they are computer-level geniuses, which gives them the upper hand in almost any situation.
