My grandparents spent many years at this home, and it was only when my grandfather retired that they had to move out (estate owned farmhouse). When I look at thi shouse many memories flood back, particularly those involving myself, my sister and my younger cousin Peter.
In the summer months we woulld play various ball games on the front lawn. The grass was a deep green and the skies were blue and at that time I had little worries as the days seemed endless. I can also recall jumping out of the top windows as a child, and us all sneaking into the house next door (what we perceived to be a haunted house) which remained empty thoughout.
At the point of getting these images the house remains in a dilapidated state - yet for me the importance is in the memories it sparks.....
