"The girl who survived camp blood disappeared two months later"
Five years have past since the bloodbath witnessed in the first film. All seems quiet at Crystal lake, and when someone comes up with the idea of opening up a counselor training centre the peace and tranquility briefly experienced.....evaporates.
This time around however death has a new face....not the one we saw in the first film....but one Jason Vorhees. What we therefore have is a bunch of counselors in training engaging in pre-marital sex, drug use and alcoholism - but I can assure you that Mr Vorhees is not tempted to engage in any such activities. Instead he prefers a pursuit that brings about death in many forms....and in this film we see machetes, spears and pitchforks wielded by the crazed killer. This is the film that unmasks (no pun intended) a ruthless, unemotional killer - although it must be noted that at this time the famous hockey mask is nowhere to be seen.
As the trail of death increases and panic ensues we are left with Ginny (Amy Steele), who desperately attempts to understand the driving force behind this 'mindless killing.' However, surely only a mother knows that!!!
