"Look upon this omen and go back from whence you came"'
This story begins pretty much where part 2 left off, whereby a group of youths intend to visit Camp Blood for the usual cocktail of sex, drugs and skinny dipping!! Along the way they ignore some serious misgivings by a phropetic drifter (see above), who strongly urges that they turn back or face the consequences!!
With the collection of youngsters sits Chris, a girl whom we see battle some personal demons/traumas of the past that have strong connections with Camp Crystal. Of course as the film wears on we begin to understand that two years previous Chris had a little run in with a deformed mad man and was extremely lucky in escaping with her life!!! There are not may people who escape with their lives when Mr Vorhees is involved....yet in that instance she did.....yet the question is whether or not she is lucky in this outing???
This is the film where Jason acquires the legendary hockey mask from one of the kids, Shelley, who is the trickster of the gang.
