A Nightmare on Elm Street Part IV

"Its his banquet.......and im the last course"

The film picks up from where the third left off....Kirsten (Tuesday Knight), one of the survivors of the last film, is dreaming, and using her abilities she pulls Joey (Rodney Eastman) and Kincade (Ken Sagoes) into her dream. She tells them that she thinks Freddy is coming back but they are adamant that he is dead. However when Kincade finds himself at the place where Freddy's bones were buried we know that Freddy is on his way back - and with both Kincade and Joey meeting their makers in the space of one night alarm bells start ringing. It gets worse when Kirsten's mother drugs her and she too ends up dying - but not before passing on her a power to her boyfriends sister (Alice, played by Lisa Wilcox).

So despite Kirsten being the last of the Elm Street 'brats' Freddy wants more souls...and after picking up Alice's brother and her friends he comes face to face with our new hero. Alice has not only inherited the skills and knowledge of her dearly departed friend - she believes in the story of the dreamaster - that is that there is an individual who guards the positive gate and another who guards the negative gate. The latter gate is guarded by Mr Krueger, and has been for a long time.

It is up to Alice to free the souls of her friends, and she has the power to do just that. However she must defeat Freddy, who continues to be in compelling form. Also look out for the methods of getting rid of some of the teenagers - they are ingenious!!
