Halloween V

              "Look asshole....you wanna play.....trick or.....aaaaah"

Jamie is holed up in an institution, and is in a catatonic state having attempted to kill her foster mother at the end of the last film. However she keeps having nightmares, and seeing what Michael sees, that is she seems to have a psychic link up with her uncle. Of course Myer's was blown up and fell down some sort of mineshaft....surely no-one could survive that fall!! Well as you can guess he does...and he is taken in and nursed to health by some good willed individual-a hermit. However when a year elapses Michael thinks that it is a good idea to return home....and so after dispatching the poor old hermit who helped him he's on his way!!

Dr Loomis is in close attendance when Jamie is experiencing such nightmares - he knows that Michael is still alive and furthermore, he is returning home. Since those events a year ago Jamie has been unable to talk, and so expresses her dreams and visions through drawings. She knows that Michael is coming for her, and that he will kill all who try to get in his way. Loomis sees this as an opportunity to trap Michael, and there are points in the film when it seems that Loomis is actually getting through to Myer's.

In what I see to be a bizarre twist Michael actually shows a sign of weakness by taking off his mask and showing his face to his niece....for the first time in 25 years is Michael beginning to question his own beliefs, the things that Wynn and Blankenship told him....or will it only be an isolated moment before he returns to his state of denial and murderous ways!!

Whilst it appears that at the end of the film Michael is actually caught....a mysterious stranger is on hand to free him.....
