Halloween H20

"Do you know what day it is today.........."

It is important to highlight the fact that this film picks up where the second of the Halloween films left off...with Laurie Strode walking away from the fire. It does not account for the fourth, fifth and six installments which involved Jamie (Myer's niece). So to set the scene it is now twenty years later (October 1998) and Laurie Strode is a head teacher in some private school, hillcrest Academy, and his living with her seventeen year old son John. She has changed her name to Keri Marie Tate. All is peaceful and quiet for her, yet it is approaching Halloween and Laurie is still traumatised by past events - still believing that Michael is out there (his body was never found) and that her son must be protected at all costs.

Its not long before we see Myer's making his way to the school for a family reunion....and its up to Laurie to save the day. He manages to track her down by stealing confidential papers from Dr Loomis's nurse, although in his usual style he doesn't ask but rather takes and kills!!! One by one the resident teenagers meet their makers - but the ending suggests that finality is at last reached....Michael's head is severed and surely there is no way back for him......
