Pet Semetary II

"There is no blood condition, the dog isn't sick its dead, and so

was Creed's cat, and so was his wife...."

Jeff is a teenage boy whose parents are estranged...yet an opportunity for reconciliation is on the cards. His father, Chase is a vet who is open to the idea and his mother, Renee a beautiful Hollywood actress. However whilst on set filming her latest blockbuster, and watched by her son, Renee is electrocuted and subsequently dies. Naturally Jeff is devastated, but both he and his dad move to the town where Chase grew up, and attempt to get their lives back on track. It seems that they are in for a rough ride when Jeff falls foul of the school bully, Clyde, and Chase is reminded by the local Sheriff, Gus, that he too had a history with Renee.

After one incident with the local bully Jeff ends up at the eerie pet semetary where he hears strange stories of animals and people coming back to life. He is also befriended by the local fat kid Drew, who also happens to be the Sheriff's step son, and a friendship is developed. However when Drew's pet dog is cruelly shot and killed by Gus the two boys take it to pet semetary to bury it....and sure enough later that night the dog reappears at Drew's home..looking a little worse for wear but alive. A check up by Chase reveals that the dog has no heartbeat, and further blood analysis indicates that the blood came form a dead animal...and Chase begins to wonder what is going on.

The dog itself begins to get nasty, and when it tears the Sheriff's throat out the two boys again find themselves burying a body on that sacred Indian burial ground...but this time it's a human. Whilst Gus's return from the dead initially has its benefits it isn't long before his homicidal tendancies become evident. If that wasn't enough Jeff starts to have thoughts about bringing his mother back......
