Children of the Corn VII

"'There was a cult........they thought that adults were the agent of satan....'

Jamie Lowell cant seem to get in contact with her eccentric grandmother, and so decide to investigate. She travels to her grandmothers last known address, which is a condemned tenement building (The Hampton Arms) surrounded by corn fields.....

Upon arrival she is greeted by two strange looking kids, and after reaching room 407 she sees that her grandmother is nowhere to be seen. of course the police are not interested, the place is over run with kids who don't seem to have parents, and the handful of residents left in the condemned building are all freaks. As Jamie begins her investigation messages appear which tell her to go home, and then the neighbours start to disappear, with the resident stone head the first to go. Struggling to piece together the evidence she comes across she goes back to the Police 24 hours later, and it seems the local cop has been doing some digging for her. he tells her that some time ago a huge firs killed over 20 kids...and only her grandmother survived. The kids were part of a cult which believed adults were evil, and that this movement was led by a boy called Abel. It would seem that barely two months after the fire the Hampton Arms was built......

Strange wreaths hang above residents doors, and shortly after they all end up dying...and pretty soon Jamie is the last resident standing.

A mysterious priest turns up and tells her that she should never have been born as her grandmother should have died in that fire. He tells her that her grandmother is dead, and that the evil that walks this place wants her. The priest tells her to leave, suggesting that her grandmother returned here to save her grand daughter, before leaving her alone.  the children appear, and seem intent on clearing the Hampton of all adults...yet the interest of the Police intensifies as more bodies are discovered.....yet he who walks behind the rows has unfinished business......
