Puppet Master III

World War 2 Has Just Gotten Smaller!

Puppet Master III is set in Berlin, Germany during World War 2. The Nazi regime is experiencing heavy casualties and are looking for a way to reanimate their dead soldiers and increase their ranks.

Toulon is at the time still a struggling puppeteer who makes his money with shows featuring two-inch tall puppets. They all move without strings (due to the life-giving potion) and yet bizarrely, no-one seems to care. That is, until Lieutenant Eric Stein shows up! Captivated by the puppets, he sneaks backstage at the puppet show and photographs the string-less puppets. He subsequently informs his comrades Dr. Hess and the sinister Major Kraus, who are working on a project to bring dead soldiers back to life to use as human shields, of what he has witnessed. They are of course extremely interested in Toulon's puppets.....

Hess and Kraus head on down to Toulon's workshop, and after she disrespects him, Kraus shoots Toulon's wife Elsa dead. Toulon escapes and goes into hiding, and creates a puppet called Leech Woman, as a tribute to the memory of his wife. Of course the Nazi murder of his wife results in Toulon's puppets seeking revenge on the Nazi's - and along the way we learn that these puppets are all friends of Toulon's who were themselves murdered by the Nazi's. Can Toulon escape the clutches of the Nazi's....or will his puppets provide them with the perfect formula for building an invincible army????
