The Crow II

Do you know what they call a gathering of crows? Curve? A murder.

A murder of crows. Think about it

Ashe Corven is a man who is killed alongside his son by a gang of criminals, similar to Eric Draven's demise in the first film. As in the first movie, he is resurrected by a supernatural crow and seeks revenge with his new-found powers. It would seem that these murderers are the lap dogs of a drug lord, and his rather strange girlfriend, who seems remeniscent of Hellraiser's pinhead in terms of the pleasure/pain principle.

Of course the plot of the first film is followed....Corven picks off his murderers one by one, and he even meets up with Sarah from the first film, although now she is an adult who is obsessed with the paranormal. It is her who helps Corven to take his revenge.

However the crime boss, Judah Earl, wants Corven's powers for himself....and he soon discovers that the crow is the source of Corven's powers. Of course whilst Corven looks invulneravle at the start of the fil, this drug lord and his girlfriend are a lot smarter than their lap dogs...and prove to be much tougher opponents.  Generally speaking, sequels usually don't come close to capturing the spirit of the original film, and unfortunately The Crow 2: City of Angels is no exception.
