I still know what you did last summer

This island didn't have a murder rate until you people showed up!

In the first film Julie James had just spent a harrowing summer running for her life and dealing with the brutal murders of her high school friends. One year later, Julie has fled her hometown to attend college in Boston and leave the painful memories behind her. But, despite her best efforts to lead a normal life, the past has caught up with her.....

On the one-year anniversary of last summer's tragic deaths, Julie's college grades are slipping, and her relationship with high school sweetheart Ray Bronson is not going well. Karla Wilson, Julie's friend and roommate, wins an all-expense-paid Bahamas vacation for four on the 4th of July weekend, providing she can name the capital of Brazil...which she does. Along with Karla's boyfriend Tyrell, and their new friend Will, the group arrives at the tropical paradise, filled with beaches and beautiful palm trees. Julie and her friends find the other hotel guests leaving because hurricane season has begun. Meanwhile, Ray and his friend, Dave, are driving home from the Southport. Suddenly, they see a body lying dead in the middle of the road....sound familiar.

Ray goes to check it out, and Dave is stabbed by the killer. Ray runs and has to be taken to the hospital, but escapes and takes a boat to the Bahamas. Meanwhile, the killing spree has begun in the Bahamas. The vacation was a set up by Will, after it is revealed that Karla incorrectly answered the question (the capital of Brazil is Brasillia not Rio). Will is, in fact, Ben Willis's son, and this entire vacation is a set-up to get his revenge....

Will captures Ray as he finds a gun, but Ray breaks free just as Ben is about to deliver the killing blow, and Ben accidentally stabs Will. Ben is shot several times by Julie and falls in a grave in which Ben had earlier dug for Julie. The police arrive, rescuing Ray, Julie, and Karla. Ray and Julie are back at home, and Julie hears a sound coming from another bedroom. Meanwhile, Ray is in the bathroom brushing his teeth, and the door suddenly closes. Julie shuts an open window in the other room, not noticing the muddy footprints on the floor. As Julie enters her bedroom and sits down, she looks in the mirror, and spies the killer, under her bed. She screams and tries to run, but Ben grabs her legs and pulls her under the bed.....
