The Return of the Living Dead V

Based on what we've seen, if anybody were to drop some Z, they'd become a

              zombie no matter what!

The film takes place one year after Necropolis and the returning teenage characters, from the previous film, are now college freshmen. Julian and his few friends that actually managed to escape Necropolis have all enrolled in college and are trying to put their experiences with Hybratech behind them forever. While illegally selling one canister of Trioxyin-5, Charlie Garrison is murdered by a zombie. His nephew Julian Garrison finds two canisters hidden in the attic of his house with his girlfriend Jenny and they ask their friend Cody to analyze and research the chemical product. Cody finds that the composition of the product is very similar to ecstasy and he processes the chemical, making a large quantity of a drug that he called "Z" to make money. Using the services of the local drug dealer, they sell "Z" in the college campus. They discover that Trioxin can be used as a recreational drug named 'Z', but the drug will eventually turn the user into a zombie. The speed of "zombification" depends on the dose of Trioxin consumed

Soon, Halloween approaches, and almost all of the college kids have already taken 'Z'. After the drug takes effect and turns the kids into zombies, the Halloween costumes everyone is wearing make it hard to distinguish the living from the undead. The zombie infested rave is ultimately bombed by law enforcement officers, leaving only a few human survivors. The movie ends with Tarman, a popular zombie in the series, hitchiking holding up a sign that reads "Rave or bust!", unfortunately for him, he is not picked up and he also says his famous line "Brains!".
