When a Stranger Calls

Jill, Jill. We traced the call! It's coming from inside the house! Do you hear me? It's

coming  from inside the house! You need to get out! Jill?

Jill Johnson is a teenage girl and runner for her high school. She is a typical high school girl and when her father sees her high cell phone bill he is not too pleased, and so she is forced to repay it by babysitting. She's driven to the Mandrakis' house, a rich family with two kids who are already asleep. This seems like an easy way in which to repay her father.....doesnt it!!

When the parents of the children leave Jill alone, she begins to receive anonymous calls, and often the caller only breathes into the phone. Not quite what she expected to deal with.  However things become a little more menacing and sinister when the ominous voice asks her to check the children, which she does, and somehow the caller is aware that she went upstairs.

Jill enters a state of panic and quickly phones the police. They respond by saying they will trace the call if she can keep him on the line for more than a minute. Jill manages to do this but when the police tell her that this "ominous caller" is coming from inside the house, Jill fends for her life and that of the children. The killer is eventually caught, and at the end it appears that the experience has caused Jill to develop a psychological disorder, and she is seen being restrained by a team of doctors and nurses in a mental hospital.....
