Child's Play II

"I've got a new game sport, its called hide the soul and

                            guess what....your it"

At the end of the first installment Chucky was nothing but a frazzled, corpse of a doll who surely has no chance of being resurrected....wrong!!!! At the local Good Guys factory the boss of Play pals, Mr Sullivan, is aware that every tabloid has focused on Andy Barclay and the killer doll, and asks one of his PR guys what progress he has made on dispelling the rumours. He tells his boss that Barclays mother is undergoing psychiatric assessment, Andy is in a crisis centre with foster custody pending and that they have the original doll and were investigating it at that time. He adds that the quality control report will make the stockholders happy (they have transferred the inner section of Chucky to a new good guy doll), and that he has prepared a demonstration for his boss, which culminates in one of the operatives being electrocuted!!! Chucky is back...in a new body.

Meanwhile poor Andy has been shipped out to new foster parents, and despite still being haunted by the trauma of the murders, he tries to settle in to his new home. He shares the house with his foster parents (Phill and Joanne Simpson) and Kyle, a teenage girl also taken in by the couple. Andy discovers a good guy doll in the closet and tries to put the nightmares behind him, yet it isn't long before Chucky turns up, buries the original doll, and lets Andy know that he's back for his soul.

After a few failed attempts Chucky decides to attend school with Andy, yet despite disposing of a teacher he still cant get Andy on his own. His foster parents are the next to perish, whilst he is shipped back to the local hospital...yet it is Kyle who discovers the original good guy buried in the garden, and subsequently realising that Andy was telling the truth. She rushes to the hospital to save Andy, but Chucky is one step ahead and forces Andy (at knifepoint) to the local good guy factory. He then knocks him out and carries out the ritual that will allow him to transfer his soul into Andy's body...yet something goes wrong and when Kyle turns up a battle between the three ensues. Will Chucky finally get his man (I mean boy) or will Andy live to see another day????
