The first year of the traineeship focuses on
three different aspects of learning. The first of such
areas is that of the degree, whereby one is expected
to log onto weekly online lectures for various modules
associated largely within the area of Criminology. The
second area is obviously that of work, which includes
the management of cases, attending training events and
learning from those around you. The third and final
aspect of the traineeship is the completion of several
Key Learning Outcomes (KLO's), which aim to demonstrate the
candidates ability to combine theory and practice. Each
of these units comprises of a written log and evidence,
and had to be signed by my Practice Development Assessor
(PDA) before I could progress.
This area of the site therefore comprises of
a handful of essays which I completed within phase one,
and the seven KLO's.I would add that all names and places
used are fictional.
