Alien Resurrection

"Your a thing, a construct, they grew you in a fu**ing lab, then they

               brought it out of you....."

The fourth installment begins on board the spaceship, a United Systems military research centre with a crew of forty two and seven science officers. What we also appear to have is Ripley 200 years after her death, or at least a cloned Ripley, or as the scientist refer to her, number 8. However if she is cloned...then so is the alien that grew inside her......it seems that the army want to study the alien, a queen, allow it to reproduce and control the aliens. However Ripley warns them that they will all die, and that they can teach these things 'tricks.'

Meanwhile on board another ship, The Betty, the crew are a little curious about what the cargo is they are delivering to the General on board the Auriga. We see a cluster of humans seemingly in stasis, and it doesn't take a genius as to what the General wants those bodies for...hosts. The Crew of the Betty decide to stick around on the Auriga for a while, and soon stumble across Ripley, and one of them is particularly interested in why Ripley is still alive. Meanwhile the alien queen has given birth to its children, and whilst the scientists observe the aliens are getting clever, and decide that they will escape their confined spaces.

Whilst the aliens make their escape there is a stand off between the two crews, yet this doesn't last long as the aliens begin to terrorize all the humans onboard. Things go from bad to worse when the survivors learn that the ship has an emergency procedure– automatically resetting its course for planet earth, and most on board do not want these aliens to get a crack at taking over their home planet. It is decided that the warring crew members must unite and escape the ship, subsequently destroying it and all that is on board. However the small matter of a nest of aliens stands between them. We must also question Ripley's loyalties...will she forfeit her mothering instincts for her 'baby' for the sake of a bunch of humans???
