Hello, Xavier, I want to play a game. It's similar to the game you play as a drug

              dealer, the game of giving hope to the desperate.

As with the first film we open with a puzzle....a man sitting in a chair awakens....he finds a mirror and dioscovers thathe has a massive iron like device around his neck. A television switches on revealing Jigsaw's puppet Billy...which reveal that he is being punished for being a snitch, and that if he wants to save himself then he must do the following...an x ray shows that a key to unlock the device is behing his eyeball...and thathe simply needs to get it. The poor guy fails the test

Detective Eric Mathews attends the scene and amongst other things, notice a Wilson Steel Logo. At the plant they realise that the place is boony trapped, and three SWAT officers meet their fate relatively quickly. Mathews arrives upstairs to confront Jigsaw sitting at his desk...he is week from his cancer. Jigsaw informs him that before he they cart him off to prison they have a problem to deal with - and inside an office they find a set of television monitors which show several people trapped in a  room, including Mathews son Daniel. There is a timer counting down two hours.

A tape recorder states that the door will open in three hours, buta deadly nerve agent will kill them in two unless they find an antedote. of course the antidote is in a large safe - in the room - and there is also a key for the room door, with instructions not to use the key to leave the room....but people will not listen to instructions!! there follows a lot of in fighting before the group escape the room and squabble over the emergence of more antidote, of which more sick games need to be played.

Back at the engineering works Jigsaw refuses to tell Mathews where the location of the room is, and adds that he too must play this intricate game if he is to save his son. meanwhile the groupencounter more sick games, including a druggie that must crawl through a floor full of hyperdermic syringes if an antidote is to be gained.....Mathews learns that the people with his son were all 'criminals,' and therefore there are a lot ofpeople in the house that don't like him...and his son could be in danger!! One by one the captovesw die gruesome deaths, whether at the hands of Jigsaw all their fellow captives.....

Mathews finally flips and assaults Jigsaw, who states that he would take mathews to the house....but things are not quiet that simple....there are even more twists to come.....and before we know it Mathews is chained up...with a tape recorder next to him......
