Pretty creepy, isn't it? You know, they say that the souls of the people that died here
apparently still haunt the house.
Ariel Wolfe, the editor of a fashion magazine, receives many calls from her sister Sara, the protagonist of the first film, but she doesn't return them. When Sara is found dead, Ariel goes to her apartment with her friend and photographer Paul. She meets Professor Richard Hammer, who's looking for Sara's journal to find a lead to the statue of Baphomet for a museum.
Later, Ariel and Paul are kidnapped by a gang of treasure hunters led by Desmond Niles, who means to find the statue and sell it to a private collector for five million dollars. They go to the house, where they meet Richard, his assistant Kyle and his student Michelle, but the criminals dominate the group. Suddenly, the house closes all the exits and they find that they're trapped inside with ghosts who are reliving their final tortured moments in the place they died. They all start to die one by one until Ariel and Paul find and destroy the statue.
