Now this was a back room - occasionally used as the front room but I cannot remember this. What I can recall is that the room was set up pretty much as a front room, and that it stored amongst other things alcohol (I remember seeing bottles of Por) and sweets/chocolates (which I and my sister/cousin would regularly raid the room for).
The door immediately outside this room led to the back garden, and the stairs were immediately on the left. I cant believe however that the wallpaper is still there - that envokes strong childhood memories.
The main bedroom - my grandparents bedroom. It was very rare I entered this room other than to jump out of the window!!
